Great Value
As everyone else has said, the battery grip fits great. I actually prefer the shutter release on this to the one on my T1i Camera. The camera feels so much better in hand with this on as well, it gives a place for my pinky finger to rest and with a larger lens (like my 18-200 or 70-300) it evens out the weight a bit more. The Batteries just last, over 1000 photos with average flash usage so far. I have not yet run them all the way down before charging. Love having Two Chargers now so I can charge both batteries at once. Have used the car adapter with this one a couple of times even to make sure my spare battery was topped off. The Remote works as expected, gives you more distance than a Cable Release, but you have to be within angular range of the sensor.
Worth the money
I was a bit skeptical about the price of this package, but I am very glad I took the leap of faith. This would have been a huge expense if I had purchased a higher name brand individually. I have run all of the components through testing and they all pass with flying colors!
Battery Pack Review
I bought the Battery Pack to use for a wedding. Really wanting to be able to shoot a lot of vertical shots. The battery pack looks professional, I got lots of compliments. Easy to put on the camera and take off. I found some issues with taking time to refresh after I had been shooting for about 4 hours solid. Not as great as I wanted. Overall I recommend this product even with it's limitations. The pricing and delivery were great.

Good little tool
I just bought this after realizing I needed a remote of some sort.
First the good.
Just plug it into your camera and it works. Not having a wire attached to the camera is a definite bonus. The button is easy to press even if your fingers are cold. Works with antennae down at least at close range. Small enough to fit in my pocket, and both units are small enough to not take up any of that precious space in my camera bag.

The bad.
The remote requires a sewing machine screwdriver to replace the battery if it goes dead. There is no battery access like there is on the receiver. The battery for the receiver is not a standard grocery or convenience store purchase like a AA or AAA. If you are in auto/auto-focus mode, there is no positive feedback on the button to tell when you have pressed the button down enough to trigger the shutter.

All in all it has done a great job and performs as expected.

alpha remote
3/29/08 although is not a sony brand product. I was searching for similar item but sony only makes wired remote for the alpha digital camara, I order the wireless remote and Ireceived it within 3 days pluged it in my alpha 100 and it works excellent it even works the shutter on the consecutive shot on s mode. I am very please with the wireless remote. opeka made a good product. Now I can control my sony alpha wireless.
Great with Konica Minolta 5D
A great item @ a greater value. Able to do much more with the wireless. Would highly recommend this wireless, seamless integration with my Konica Minolta 5D.

This won't work for a Nikon D70, only a D70s
Be sure to note that if you have a Nikon D70, this remote is not for you. It will only work with a D70s.
Wireless remote.
Works flawlessly, has great range, can autofocus with a 1/2 press on controller. Great product. I was taking pics using the controller and a tripod, camera slipped from tripod and I caught the weight of the D80 Nikon and a 600mm lens with the cord of the remote that was plugged into the camera body. It bent the heck out of the plug-in (more then 45 degrees), and the thing still works fine. Really great product.
Don`t waste your money on this remote
This remote is too pricey for what it does. I bought one from 47th Street Photo expecting a brand new product. Instead it was a used one based on the scratches on the product and the sticky grime that came with it. It makes the camera take slow shutter release shots resulting in blurred photos. I felt I wasted my money buying this remote. And what made it worse was being given a second hand product when in fact I ordered a brand new product. I would never buy anything from 47th Street Photo again. I have been buying from Amazon for several years now with full confidence. I`ll think twice before buying anything from Amazon after this. They don`t screen their sellers well.

Good little tool

Works great
I purchased this to use with my D300. It came in a basic no thrills box and came with the batteries. It has worked fine. I went on a three day workshop and used it every day all throughout the day. When I used it all day I left it on the camera the entire time and screwed it into the plug - when in my home studio I just plug it in without screwing it down, it stays on just fine. Overall I probably shot about 1000 pictures with it and it seems to be going fine. If I ever get to the point of convincing myself to put a piece of velcro on my camera, then I will secure it to the camera with a piece of velcro; I'm afraid that it dangling and swinging will eventually put stress on the wires and break them, but so far so good and still velcro free. There are some visible dip switches on the remote, but I didn't buy it for its look, I bought because of the good price. The switches enable you to change the frequency if needed.
Great product
This product is far less expensive than others but works great. Have used it with my D300 with great success.
remote picture perfect
this product worked perfect. easy to carry. easy to install. easy to use. i was a little skeptical when i made the purchase because i have not heard of this brand before. however, after using this for hundreds of pictures of my wife and i, and it not failing even once , i am giving it 5 stars!
